Why cold-pressed and hexane-free actually matters
Most cheap castor oil is extracted with hexane — a petroleum solvent that pulls more oil out of the bean for less money. It's faster and it's cheaper, and it leaves trace solvent behind in something you're putting near your eyes.

Which size should I get?
30ml is the trial size — about six weeks of nightly use on lashes and brows. Good if you've never used castor oil and want to see how your skin takes to it.
50ml is what most people buy. Roughly two to three months of daily use, and it's the size that fits in a bag without leaking.

Is it safe to use near my eyes?
